VOLUNTEER TRUSTEE REQUIRED AT WHITEMOSS CLUB FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Would you like to help make a very real difference in the lives of young people in north Manchester?

Do you have financial skills and experience, but not necessarily skills and experience working with young people?

You can combine your passion to make a difference with your skills with finance, by becoming a volunteer treasurer for Whitemoss Youth and Community Centre in Charlestown, North Manchester.

This centre is a hub of activity for the local Charlestown community, providing a safe and positive place for over 100 local young people to go during an evening and a range of other community activities during the day, including a fortnightly lunch club for local elderly people.

An opportunity has recently arisen for somebody to take on the role of Treasurer for the club which has secured funding from Manchester City Council to be able to continue to provide its essential services to the local community.

If you are able to offer 2 or 3 hours per week to help keep track of the finances and would like to find out more, please contact John Biggs on 0161 278 1240.
