HIGH SHERIFF OF GREATER MANCHESTER VISITS STOCKPORT LADS CLUB

 

On Tuesday 12th March the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester met with Andy Hamill, County Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester, to find out more about the work the organisation does with local voluntary youth clubs and projects.

Robina Shah, also took the opportunity to find out more about Stockport Lads Club and it’s 130-year history that it is celebrating throughout 2019.

The High Sheriff was greatly impressed with the work of Boys & Girls Clubs, but also with the club and the amazing voluntary service that it has provided for well over a century.

She described the club as a “hidden diamond” in Stockport, commending the work that they do.
