GREYGARTH MAKING A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION

 

Thanks to a grant from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester, Greygarth Boys Club are guaranteed to make a good impression with members, parents and visitors.

A grant of £750 was made to the Rusholme based club to help them improve the approach and entrance top their club.

Young people were at the centre of the idea and were consulted prior to the improvements as well as involved in the practical putting together of the improvements.

Club volunteer, Andy Taylor said, “The grant has allowed us to make the approach to the club much more attractive and appealing for everybody who visits the club. The young members have been key in making this happen and have taken a great sense of purpose and achievement in working through the project."

As well as new furniture and planters the entrance area also benefitted from a lick of paint making things look cleaner and brighter.
