Ormside Residential Centre
Ormside Mill is a residential and activity centre, sitting in a quiet rural location in the heart of Cumbria’s beautiful Eden Valley, just three miles from the lovely market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland.
Within easy reach of both the Lake District and the Pennines, the centre is a great base to enjoy the beautiful landscape of this picturesque region.
With comfortable furnishings, a full-equipped self-catering kitchen, central heating and a wood-burning stove, Ormside Mill provides great-value accommodation for groups of up to 18 people on an exclusive use basis.
The centre holds an Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) licence, allowing it to offer a wide range of challenging and exciting outdoor activities (including rock climbing, canoeing, gorge walking and geocaching amongst others).
The centre is owned in partnership by the Lancashire Association of Boys and Girls Clubs and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester.
